    Rossler Trans brake current draw?

    OK...The soleniod measured 2 ohms, so that would make the expected current draw to be about 7 amps. Rossler said the current draw should be no more...

    I wired a new Rossler trans brake with a 5 amp fuse (18 ga wire on solenoid)that worked for testing with the engine off but with the engine running...

    GSTOY, That sure looks like the same type of failure. Was that from your engine? Was that from a 1/4 mile blast or a extended top end run?

    These valves are from a natural gas fueled, spark ignited, turbocharged large bore industrial engine. so no additives. the spark plus and combustion...
