I recently installed new door seals and roof rail seals and I am having problems getting the windows to seal up. I am not sure if it is a door problem or a window adjustment. I am looking for any suggestions.

You will want to line up the body lines for the door first (Striker out of adjustment or worn/used?) make sure your door hinge pins are fine and then, you will have to adjust your window. Pull upper and lower door panel, there are numberous ways to adjust the window....... Kirbans has a book that helps explain how to adjust the window. There are up stops, down stops, forward/back, up/down, and tilt in/out adjustments. I just spent about 2 hours on my drivers door glass only to find that the plastic stabilizer guide is broken, which after I replace will probably throw off all the adjustments made:rolleyes: . Anyways HTH

Thanks for the info. Looks like I will be calling Kirban for the book.

I swapped my GS for a GN a few years ago. The previous owner had recently installed all new seals as you describe. I had a lot of wind noise. I tried to make adjustments and couldn't get it to not make noise. Later, I've read in various posts, that the cheaper seals, not GM, have this problem. Not saying this is your problem, but all you can do is adjust, adjust, adjust. You don't need a book to move the glass around.

Well I can tell you that the seals were the GM ones and they were anything but cheap. Thanks for the help
