I think everybody remembers the Asian guys in 'Better Off Dead' who always pull up alongside John Cusack wanting to race when he's in that god-awful station wagon. (In fact, someone here has it as their avatar.) I am having a similar experience. The GN is waiting for this Christmas thing to be over so I can afford to take it in and get a few things done. My daily driver is a Stealth R/T and it's not even a turbo unit. I live down a state road in Santa Fe county and everytime I'm on my way home, a total ricer POS passes me as if he were something special. This Civic is half covered in primer and the other half is about six different colors. His ground effects are all bent up and he's got an Auto Zone wing if ever I've seen one. Everytime I walk through the front door, the wife can tell exactly what's on my mind: "You saw that Honda again, didn't you?" When the GN is done, I'm gonna school this motherf***er and (like Mike Tyson) then I'm gonna eat his children. I know some of you guys have got to have a story about situations like this. Please chime in.
forget the GN, you should be able to spank him in the stealth. even the non-turbo models have over 200 hp.
I'd think that the Stealth would take it, but in relation to the movie...remember what made it sweet is that he didn't beat them until he came back in the SS/RS. Even if you lose, you're just setting them up for the fall. Some advice: go that way, really fast. When something gets in your way.......turn. Hey! Why don't I have an immaculate '67 under a cover in my driveway that I just kind of forgot about?
"Is that myer boy bothering you" That movie was great wish though instead of the 67 maybe a 87 gn but i think the movie was made around that time, wait for the gn so you could make that kid want to sell that POS.
Yeah, well I don't think he could get much for it. I've lived in this really small area for about a year now, and you know how these hillbilly kids are...they all think they've got THE baddest ride on Earth. (...and if even one of 'em runs better than 15's, I'll be a monkeys' uncle.) I hate to tie in another movie, but I feel like Steve Buscemi in 'Billy Madison'.....just waiting for the Buick to get done, making up my 'People to kill' list. In a month or two, expect to see alot of filmed-in-the-car a$$ whoopins in the Fish/Kill section!!
