E 85

    Hello i am building my motor and i am going to use it with e85.

    I have

    gn1 aluminium heads
    212/212 cam
    je-pistons
    cks crank
    k1 rods
    4Xbillet caps
    big front mount ic
    70 throttle body
    kb headers
    Tial wastegate
    maf-translator pro
    aeromotive a-1000 with 1" lines
    Holset hx-40 super
    devils own alky-kit


    What would be best injector size for this combo.
    How much fuel pressure have to be with e85.
    what boost levels would be best?
    Is there any programs for maf translator pro with e85.

    I would go with 120inj at a minimum and maybe even 160inj. Give full throttle a call and they will burn a chip for for e85. You are going to max out that a1000 f/p. If you do decide to with 160in I would ditch the alcky it's one less variable in tuning. The chip should dictate the fuel pressure setting.

    I have a similar combo....

    Ported GN1s, stock stroke crank, 215/220 cam. Razor alky kit.

    I'm putting it together with 120's for E85.

    I suggest keeping the methanol injection along with the E85. I've already used that combo on one of my other cars and it works extremely well. 105+ octane E85 and 140+ octane methanol play very well together and allow you to run a lot of boost.

    I'm sure you can get an E85 chip for your combo from full throttle / Bob Bailey. His stuff works really nice.

    Have you dynoed yuor car yet?
    I think i will go with 120 lbs+meth

    This combo isn't in the car yet. I'll probably get it into the car in a few months.

    I hope i get this work..



    Does Eric make chips for E85?

    Yes up to 120's, maybe bigger by now.
