I used to have tons of moles in my yard...then this stray cat started living on my front porch and haven't had a mole in my yard since...I have had to pick up a bunch of dead ones the cat would bring to my door..LOL. I was going to try and run the cat off but...she seems to be earning her keep.
That cat sounds like a keeper. Funny how they bring the Trophy's to a spot where you will notice them. ~JM~
My Dad used to kill gophers by sitting at their hole with a .22 pistol aimed at it. When the gopher would poke his head out, BOOM. He killed a lot of them like that. Not the most efficient method time wise, but it was funny to look out the window and see him sitting there with his pistol aimed at the hole and trying to be as quiet as possible.
I have 3 Jack Russells that are experts in this particular "field". They have also caught all the rabbits but one, and its a very nervous rabbit.
