Do you REALLY think they ALREADY dont know what color underwear you wear and what time you take s hit in the morning? Your cell phone with all the pictures and secret text's has been tapped for decades and w.e big corporation you work for probably has an insurance on your death if your over 40 so your basically worth more to them dead than alive... and your worried about "them" seeing your car's and gun's.. they know how many hairs are on your ass already brother.. are life is based on technology and privacy will further decline.. Every street light has a camera and tolls have camera's they know where your going at all times..Stop worrying about what people see online.. your ip on your computer is static so everytime you watch porn or some nasty kinky stuff.. there is a record of that @ your providers headquarters..your debit/credit card purchases is recorded... "they" know what your going to do before you do... your google history everything is known about you already quit with privacy act guys i thought you men would have known this by know? And if your worried of a thief or something like that i guess he has all the information to come to my house and i guess we'll have to see how that play's out for him..Good luck"

this comment isn't intended for any specific person.. just my Opinion on pics and info online etc..

This is the type of thing I won't show. What I've got isn't followed by paperwork for a reason unless I sell it. No one really needs to know everything that I've got unless they try and visit withour permission. Then they will only see the one that meets them as I come out the door.

Glad I could point you toward the new section.:) If you hand load I've got a heck of a load for the 6.5x55 I can PM you. 140 grain boattail bullet seems to work the best for me and it's the same basic european load you get if you buy from there. I also have a great load for the 7.9x57 Mauser that will knock just about anything off it's feet.:)

I do not have any pics on my current computer, but you can see pics of my Jim Hoag longslide, Les Baer Premier II, & my Springfield Armory Trophy Match, all .45 autos.

    http://www.turbobuick.com/forums/guns-ammo/204944-any-1911-fans-here.html

    Post #'s 3-7, I believe.

Sorry, no pics yet of my Wilson Combat Classic Supergrade, bought in about Feb, 2011, & my new Ed Brown Executive Target, bought new in about Mar or Apr, 2011, also all .45 auto.

Maybe I can get Mike, (SPOOLFOOL2, to take some pics of both the new Wilson Combat & the new Ed Brown. Both are beautiful guns & exceptional accurate.

What's wrong with showing this? How many do I have? Who's paperwork is it under? Where is it located? Do I have anymore? Is it even mine or did I find a picture online and want to look cool? What knowledge have you or anyone else gained from that post besides the fact I may have a gun? I know from your post that you have guns too. So now that you've shown the world wide web that you have guns too and indicated you have other ones that you don't want to show, wouldn't that make you just as big a target for this notional great gun takeaway everyone fears will happen one day? How many old guns do I have or guns that are not in my name? If my gun is registered and the boogeymen come to take it away, will my new guns make different sized holes in someones chest versus your old guns? Besides, I am a 'boogeyman".

Not being confrontational, just curious of the thought process.

Completely understandable. With the current political situation we have in office right now and the so called illegal gun trading across the border that's supposed to be going on between the western states and mexico I won't say what I might or might not have in my collection. All of it is within current US legal status, but the fact that a few would like to take the legal status away from US citizens, I won't risk it. All of my stock was legally purchased mostly from individuals in a state that I reside in at the time or one that borders it, which is legal under current US law. Posting a simple hunting rifle like I have is the most I'm willing to do right now. If things get better in the future I'd have no issues posting some of my other items but as for now I see no reason to give anyone a chance to know much more than I have already.:)

If you like and own any guns, your 2nd gun should be a very high quality safe. Mine is almost a walk in, being about 6 ft tall, and weighing, I believe, about 700 lbs. empty. I keep one gun loaded with 1 in the chamber, 7 in the mag, cocked & locked on my nightstand if I am at home. If I answer the door when the sun goes down, you can bet your life that there will be that gun in my hand. It's not very complicated, if you value your possessions, protect them. If not, plan on replacing them every so often. Its sort of like "Disneyland after dark" out there.

Completely agree. That's why I posted only one pick of a weapon that "they" already know I have. Things I've purchased from private owner sales etc. are not for the public eye. ;) Fun times we live in, huh?

Gary, what safe model do you have and if you don't mind roughly what price did you pick it up for? I'd love to get a bigger safe.

Remember that records before the 90's were suposed to be kept by the business but didn't get sent in to often. Before 68 the records didn't really exist (sp) except at the manufacturer or at the store as a sale. Since that was a period where companies went out of business those weapons haven't really been accounted for. This inclues the weapons that were manufactured before 1923 when the restrictions on class II and calss III weapons went into effect. Durring WWII weapons were sent home by GI's of all kinds not to mention stolen off military bases.

I actually had a guy drive up to the old shop in TN and wanting to sell a gun to us. My partner and I wanted him to bring it in and instead he told us it was in the back of his truck and he didn't what to lift it. We went out and he pulled the tarp off the bed exposing an M2HB fully assembled with T&E and several boxes of ammo. His grampa took it off an airbase and all they ever did with it was "cut trees down on the farm" with it. We told him to leave and he insisted. We pulled our sidearms and made sure he left. Didn't look at the plate or anything for the shear fact that if we didn't know about it we wouldn't get int trouble.:)

National Security Safe Company, I believe that they were or are made in Montana. I bought mine about '94 or so. About 1300 if I remember correct. I will try and dig up the info on it.
