We pulled the LS2 last week and Kurt Urban is going to be going through it putting on a killer set of heads and some improvements to the block for this year. Time to turn up the boost some more and get a PTC converter in there!!!

From what I was told there was something going on in the bottom end, sounded like a rod bearing. I know he is interested in selling the heads last I talked to him. Not sure what he wants for them. Dan spent over 3k into the L92 heads.

P.S. the header guy is not interested in duplicating these headers without a car.

Do you guys mind sharing which car the accessories came from? Would like the power steering mounted high like that. Did you guys make custom power steering hoses?

It is a Corvette front accessory drive. The power steering lines need to be custom made.

Glad to see you making the switch to LS power. You won't be disappointed..

Ok on those SBF headers, they cut the flanges off but did they cut into the tubes a little bit as well? It looks like it, plus that would make sense doing so since the Ford tube is shaped like a rectangle and the LS1 flanges are for the round shaped LS1 exhaust port.

Also, what type of piping is used for the cold air pressure pipes? I assume aluminum piping and you guys are TIG welding it, right?

This build thread and pics are a lot of help.

The header tubes were cut and rounded off. The factory Ford end was cut off and reworked. The cold side piping is 3" AL and Tigged.
