Hi I live in the Dallas area I recently got a turbo trans am and I was wondering of someone in area may know how to work on these cars or know a specialist that lives around here..my car is basically stock except for the turbo tweak chip..other then that the car has no other after market parts..I need help with tunning and basic parts I need to get this car where I want it "A BAD ASS SLEEPER"

That's awesome I really need to take the car to someone that familiar with these engines and from what I hear he's highly recommended..but for them moment I need to take car of some basic stuff before I take it to him like the fuel pump, hot wire kit, adjustable FP regulator, and valve springs,, I hear the vale springs on my car is going to be a bitch..I went ahead and ordered the comp cam 980
Fp will be a real pita as well unless you want to cut a hole through the body behind the rear axle to make a trap door. If ever sold a real collector will pull the carpet up to check. Don't know about the valve spring haven't done that. Since the tta doesn't have shaft mounted rockers it would be harder than on a Gn but no harder than any other car I wouldn't think. its a shop in fort worth he has one up there right now restoring it and fixing it up he know alot about the cars and grand nationals. he has one of mine right now. his name is billy duke. his shop is called dukes paint and body. he does good work. just some times takes a little time but its always done right.
Billy's shop is right next door to a buddy of mine's construction business, and is not 5 miles from me...that said, I still haul my cars 80 miles to the east side of Dallas to be worked on unless its a part I can take off because my car is always kept inside in a very clean shop and is not left there very long, like no more than a week.
