I witnessed an unfortunate incident in BG this past week when O.C. got out of shape on a test pass. The car crossed the center line and hit the left wall. The car ended up rolling and coming to rest on its side. Thank God (and a good strong roll cage) O.C. walked away with a minor bump on the head. O.C. if you are looking at this thread, I am very sorry to see you loose that nice car. Please share your thoughts on how your safety equipment helped you avoid injury. I'd like to highlight this incident for anyone still wondering if a rollcage is really needed. OC might not have been in such good shape if he only had a 5 point rollbar or nothing at all.
There's a huge discussion on this topic going on in the lounge if you haven't seen it already. Nasty wreck yes, but at least he came out OK. That rollcage indeed saved his life for sure.
