DAMN those valve cover are big..actually just saw a big block the other day and man the heads and valve covers are just huge ive been looking at my little v6 so much go to my buddy's shop and see a set of huge merlin heads,

Wow. My old 540 made almost 800HP and 698/lb of torque, single carb and 10.5 to 1 compression. I cannot imagine the numbers this thing will pump out!!

Did you need a shoehorn to get that in there?

there is a member here that has a twin turbo 522 BBC ( not in a Buick) that dyno'd at over 2000hp.
when I asked him what it did on the dyno, his reply was a little over 1000HP----------- per side!!!!!!!
running on PUMP GAS, NO KIDDING, E85 pump gas.

there is a fresh pull from this weekend the french missile made 1500 rwhp at 13 pound of boost
anyway the dyno is maxed out at that hp i will post pics soon
