I've seen some references to V1 and V2 intakes for hot-air cars. Did I miss a new product somewhere along the line? Or are these for IC kits?

Yeah, the V.1 is a heavilly modified intake manifold for hot air cars in the hot air configuration. The V.2 (as we call it) aka V.1.2 is the wild intake design with front mount throttle body that accompanies the Turbo Motion IC kit. The V.1 assembly is an excellent upgrade over the stock manifold (4 tenths on their test car!) and you prolly already know the V.2 IC kit is worth well over a second. Both are a bargain, pick your poison and order one today :)

    There is some confusion....

Both can be operated in "Hot-Air" configuration. The V2 elliminates the turbo/intake O-ring adapter. It can be operated "Hot-Air" by utilizing a tube to bypass the intercooler.

Talk to Jason at Turbo Motion for more details. I have pics of the V2 intake on the "Hot-Air" website.
