I have a 28 inch tall tire in the rear on a 10 inch rim. I am looking for a front tire size that will stand as tall and wide as possible without rubbing. The front rim size in 4 inches wide.

I am trying to get the car to sit as level as possible. Any suggestions?

I got a 28" in the back and 215's in the front and i can tell u that isnt level. U might be able to go with a 235 tire but it would be cutting it close my front rim is 6" wide

Street wheels or track wheels? I have a 165r15 radial on my 3.5" wheels and its only 24.5" tall. Luckily my car sits low up front. Id like a 26" or 27" up front.

I've been playing with my ride height and tire combination since my suspension upgrades. I currently have MT 275/60's on the rear, the fronts are MT Sportman's 28x7.5x15's. The ride height is 26-1/8" at the rear and 25-1/4" on the front. I like the look of the 28's on the front, it fills the wheelwell's up nice.

    27.5 X 4.5 on 15 X 4 rim front
    28 X 10.5 on 15 x 10 rim rear
no clearance issues on the front even with the car being lowered a little.

Ive ran 215 /70s on a 4in wheel with no issues. The 165 VW tires have always bulged at the bottom like they cant handle the load.

Are you looking for track tires or street tires or something for both?
I'm running Mickey Ts for track duty. I drive on the street on rare ocassions with them, but would definately not recommend them for full street use.

The 205/75's are alittle taller than 27". I am running a 28x10.5 MT ET drag on the back.

Yeah, I know...I'm missing the rest of the emblems also. Haven't figured out why the previous owner even bothered with putting only one emblem back on after paint. Could have put it on the correct side, don't ya think ?

I guess I should remove it...I'm up in the air with putting the original's back on, big dollars to purchase a complete set...

Id love to put a 205/75R15 on my 15x3.5" Prostars, Im just afraid they will be WAYYYYY too wide.......... thoughts?

Reason I add this to the thread is because I now have the 165R15 VW tires and as Louie said, they bulge.
