where to find stage 1 or 2

what cars if any came with a stage 1 or 2 block? im gonna go to all the junk yards if a car came with them thanks jerrad

you can look, but unless the cars your looking at have backhalfs and roll cages chances are that there is no stage engine under the hood, no stock vehicles came with them, its the buick version of the chevy bowtie block, and like them you had to order them from the performance catologue, sorry.

thats cool thanks for the reply. how much would it take to build a stage 1 motor?

Block $1500-3000
Crank & Rods $1500-2500
Roller Cam $1300
Machine work $500-1500
Pistons and rings $650

It adds up quick and this is just a short block.
