is there anyway to tell when to lock it up using the fast data logs? or you just watch the track times?

what will that tell me cal? i thought that would just tell me if its locked or not. not when i should lock it for best performance.

I misunderstood your question. I thought you were asking "how to tell when it was locking". As for "when is the best time" that depends on your combination. Every car is diferent. Some like to be loaded down others like to rev more.
