Purchased A Crossover Pipe. Didnt Fit. It Was About An Inch Off. Junk.

Slow shipping? Ud be the first I ever heard complain about that when referring to Kirban. In fact ud be the first I have heard complain about Kirban all year.

What exactly is slow shipping btw? Did you try calling them to ask why it didn't fit? Ur sure u got the right one?
 
Yeah first here too, eveything I ordered from Kirbans was fast and perfect?Including a stainless cross over . I am sure they will help you out .
 
I think there the fastest in shipping has for the part not fitting don't see why they can't help you out maybe a defect.Kirban is good on my book
 
this is the first for me to,Kirban as always came through for me in the past.
Have you spoken the him before you posted this or what?

Maybe is't not the crossover pipe,you might need new body mount bushing that cause it not to fit properly
 
When I THINK about ordering from Kirbans, FedEx shows up at my door.

Never had any issue whatsoever in 10 years.

Appreciate all the compliments....

First, we buy the cross overs from a source that has been making them for several years. Once in awhile we do get one that wasn't made correctly. When that happens we take care of it.

As far as slow shipping you realize we are in PA and you are in CA a basic 5-6 day trip. Like many companies in tough economic times we may have been out of the part which slowed shipping down and in 99% of the cases we do not charge your CC in advance.

In Turbo Buick parts alone we carry over 400 different parts......You should see some of the GM parts we get in from GM.....

With 20 years in the turbo world everything s not going to be perfect all the time.

so did you call them before you posted this ??? oh ..body mounts have nothing to do with this. As far as shipping ??!! been dealing with them since the beginning of time :p NEVER had a problem. :cool:
 
Wow this is a first Kirban is usually spot on and parts get there before they even bill the credit card
 
I have purchased products from Kirban for 20 years and have never had a problem. Their customer service and shipping has always been top notch!

I ship all the time to the west coast and for some stupid reason packages take forever to get out there! I've had people ship me stuff from the west coast and it's here in less then a week sometimes. I shipped 4 orders out the other day. One to Seattle, one in Puerto Rico, and one to Texas. The Texas and Puerto Rico packages made it in no time and almost 18 days later the package showed up in Seattle. They all were shipped UPS ground. Keep that in mind when ordering from this side of the coast. To Dennis' defense I can share that pain with you people living on the west side!


Like the others said I've ordered plenty off Dennis and never one problem. I can promise you a call to Kirban Performance would have got you faster and better results then posting on the forum. We all know how frustrating it can be to wait for a part and it don't fit or shows up damaged. We ALL have been down that road plenty of times trust me and it sucks! It's always good practice to give the vendor a shot off the forum first. And after a reasonable amount of time if you don't get the results you want that's when you come on here and flame them up. That's the power of the internet! :cool:
 
Kirban is the man. If we were ever to lose him as a vendor and resource, it would be a dark day for the community.

Had to jump in here and say I'm relatively new to TR's and since I bought my '87 GN I've ordered from Kirban's a couple times and had the box on my door in 2 days both times. I'm in FL. Never a problem and will continue to give him my business as long as their doors are open......

this is the most pointless thread on the feedback section

if i complain somthing didnt fit right or took too long to ship i would have filled this section by myself

they really have to be THAT bad for me to make a bad comment and ill take a couple days before it hink about writing something that is going to affect peoples views on his business when he really is a top class seller and is one of the knowledgablist? lol person on this forum

how long did it even take to ship?


i have a part from cottons that has been over 3 weeks and i have not said one word just because of who they are and i know i am going to be getting the best service i can and there is definately a reasonable explanation for it
 
The problem is to ship to the west cost at reasonable cost they try to put together a whole truckload and it will sit on a dock waitin for a truckload to be made that y i make money, i run expedite freight if you need it now and dont wanna wait and have the $$ then call express 1.. i went from ontario california to bangor maine in 3 days on a freight run...
 
i guess i'll try again with kirban. pipe was for sure off and the shipping was 2 weeks. also had problems with poston sending out the wrong stuff and taking weeks to get and even when i got the right part i had to grind and bend on it. just frustrated with aftermarket parts not fitting right. not just the buick stuff but other cars ive been working on. thanks for the emails. i'll try it with kiran next week. got some things i need for me and my bros car.

I am sure that Dennis Kirban will make this right for you. You just ran into an isolated incident. Over the years I have ordered and received a lot of stuff From Kirban Performance and it has always been a 1st class and straight forward business transaction.
