Ahhhh.

As a kid, I loved nothing more then to wake up late on a Saturday. Stay in my PJs till noon, with the blinds shut, while watching old black and white WW2 submarine movies.:)

good info on older movies

i love war movies, and i prefer not to watch them but do from time to time. watched diary or gaudacanal the other day but it sucked. there are alot on here i've seen i didn't mention that i liked like guns of navarone, and a few others. but i also like that U-571. that movie was a good one, one thing i like to do is read books of actual war not some JK rowlings version of what war should be. now i'm not trying to piss off any lord of the rings fan but i think you get my drift. i may have to check out some of these movies you guys listed. i was considering buying a book called ghost wars about navy seals doing their thing, and some other books that are about war. i'm about half way through footprints of hero's and it covers from the revolutionary ti the iraq war. its pretty good, but then again i'm not to the end so who knows. i saw an old john wayne movie called jet pilot or something like that. it was about a soviet spy who supposedly defected and was a woman who caught his eye and turned him out. i had to stop watching it, was cheeser then government cheese and i like the duke but i don't know what was up with that movie it seemed like s low budget D movie to me.

By far #1 is Band Of Brothers for me.
