Why would they use that kind of flange? As problematic as the stockers are after being removed/installed a few times, it sure doesnt seem like a smart move. A v-band would have been so much better and you can get imported v band kits on the super cheap.

Jay these are the stock "style" they are offer another type that have v band. They have two different styles/types

So? Theyd be just as much stock style with v-bands. Can the pieces be interchanged with the stock stuff? That would be the only advantage.

have to hit up their site cant say off the top of my head on pricing. And no clue on pieces you could mis match with stock stuff kinda doubt it tho

hello; I guess those are the steel and coated correct not the SS? Also the v-bands are on the race version correct?

The driver side is a direct replacement. Not sure about the rest of the system.

Ah.. then I cant say a whole lot about using that flange then. Id imagine if the DS is a direct replacement that the passenger side and crossover would be too if used together.

Jay, I can't say for sure because I obviously am not in the decision making circle, but I'm guessing that these headers were designed for the budget minded buyer.

Never hurts for any vendors, IMHO, to have budget friendly alternatives available.

I understand that however the chinese v-band assemblies are just as cheap and decent quality. Its okay tho.. makes total sense if theyre interchangeable.

can you post a picture of the ports please? im curious how they look compared to my ATR's

These are just stock replacements. Cut an dry no brainer. They do have a thicker flange goin to the head. Now as far as the "ball" joint one... The stock one is thin and thats being nice.. This new one is THICK.. BUT of course I know someone will bend it somehow.. you know.. Hey Billy hold my beer while I tighten this crossover with my new impact gun with 800ft # of torque :p I bet these could be pushed just as far as the stockers.. Maybe even more

I was answering Jay about the flange.. ports were hard to take a pic of.. Nice an clean inside. No slag or spare wire pieces hanging on. :p

Looks like an awesome set up nice to see the slots on the turbo mount!

Those are nice! I saw them close up at the GN nationals in Burlington NC. Wish I had ordered those instead of the Hedman units being offered by the GSCA. (I gave them my money 6 months ago and still waiting! Apparently they are in "production" now and shipping 5 sets/week. )

Grumpy took some pretty good pics but they still don't quite do these justice as stock replacement headers go these are above and beyond any that have been on the market previously.
