just got done buttoning up enough stuff to put the car back on the ground. it has the softest moroso trick springs with 1.4 coil cut off for ride height. with the buick and the 6.0 motors it sits the same. my concern is it has been a long time since i have been in the car and it seems it will bottom out easier with this motor in it even though the ride height is the exact same? am i wrong to think this and just never paid attention to it before? just curious what springs in the front everyone is running.

The TRICK spring is not a street spring. It stores energy but has a lower spring rate than most stock springs. So it will ride much different. Also if you have a free suspension (no rubber or poly) the lack of suspension friction will change the ride quality also.

not really worried about ride quality, lol. always had trick springs in my rides its a weekend toy

headers

who's headers are those? stainless works? i like the way they look..what is the part #? thanks Bob

who motor mount plate and oil pan are you using . Did you mount the turbo yet ? can you take some pic of how low you pan hang ?

thx
Lenny

i ended up going with stock mounts and the ones on the spohn page. after doing them i wish i would have went a different route as they were not the easiest to install. the oil pan is from a cts-v and hangs maybe 1/2" below the k-member. here is a pic right before i took it to a freinds place to get all the turbo plumbing done. hope to have new pics of it all installed sometime next week then i will start a build thread.

SPC. Also have the upper control arms from SC&C. rides great and Bilstiens shocks too.
Can't really fit a finger between the wheel lip and the tire.

HTH

as of now gonna wait till all parts are on the car before deciding on springs..here is latest update from last night, should be done next week with the hotside.
