ahhh.. Got all my shit back on Friday. Cleaned up the parts, made a phone call and planned a trip. All my stuff (heads and all) are now in the hands of somebody I have 100% confidence in. Hopefully this super long-term project starts rolling again.
Yea I know you like em' tight.... I'd have to go back through my messages but the others were closer to 0.018"-0.020 which is kind of what I was hoping for.
Yea you're on the right track. He had already done the final hone, decked, installed cam bearings fit the billet caps and line honed. Then I had it for several months (maybe a year). When I got the crank (gn1 4340) one of the mains were tighter than I wanted. It was 2 years ago but I wanna...
Yea I guess I should say I would never drop something off for custom fabricstion work without asking. But this is normal machine work within the scope of everything else he does on a daily basis. He's done work for me before so I guess what I'm trying to say is I'm not worried about him being...
I've never run anything as important as a website but I store over 50TB of data at my own home. My important stuff is backed up daily to an online service, and then I have 2 more physical backups one of which is located off site and synchronized on a regular schedule. I just dont understand...
I know what you mean. That being said I'm never one to bust balls on price. I dont even ask. Im the guy that when I get a recomendation and decide to use you I drop my shit off, don't ask the price, and ask if you need a deposit. That doesn't mean I have a bunch of money, I just appreciate...
Well i just realized his name is in a 2017 post from this thread anyway.... its Bill Coleman in Lithicum MD. Again, nice guy im probably just a small fish in his pond.
Wow I poked my head in here for the first time in a long time and didn't expect to see my thread at the top of the 2nd page. Im sorry to report you will be depressed as I have become. I sent my block and parts to the machinist I used for the line bore / cylinder hone almost 2 years ago to go...
Lol yea that was before I bought mine. So now I have a set of SEs that look just as good. Hopefully someday they will actually sit on top of a fully assembled short block lol.

No but I have used several Crossbreed and they've served me well. Also just got this one but I don't think it'll work for concealed carry [emoji16]

Why is it going back? Trigger spring? My dads is showing the signs of trigger spring failure to come. Need to schedule it to go back. Nice pistol though

The nice part is if you aren't trying to conceal it will accept 19 round mags with sleeve so that you now have a full size grip.

My favorite carry is my XDm 3.8 compact 9mm. It is my primary carry. Although I usually compete with a full-size Sig P320 X5 I occasionally use this in the compact division. Probably have about 6k trouble free rounds through this pistol.
