i have an 86 gn, and i i am having some trouble getting it to run right it typically happens under boost but the car will cut out, the turbo will spit back as if the throttle had been shut and then it will spring back to life again, during that moment the check engine light will flash then go...

just wondering what a safe amount of boost i can run on pump gas, because the race gas is almost empty and i need to turn it down, to a street level again;)

downpipe the downpipe is the first peice of exhaust coming off the turbo, the factory one has room for improvement the faster you can get the exhaust out the faster the turbo can spool,thus you go faster. so you get a larger downpipe than the stock one to improve flow.

just checked in the garage it does not have the g80 code only g87 and gq1, i think it's a little weathered. i am new to this car so your saying a car with as much power as this has and a 8 1/2" rear end doesn't have posi?
