    9:1 compression and pump gas octane

    I once ran 10 psi in mine on 87 octane with 18 degrees of timing and had zero knock, although I have a measured 8.5:1 static compression to your 9:1. Still, I wouldn't think 10 psi would be any problem for 91. What was the air/fuel ratio?

    My stock bottom end/212 flat tappet/home ported irons/stock intake/6262 combo trapped 126 mph at 28 psi in 85 degree air with lackluster 60' times and a lot of converter slip through the 1/8 at BG this year. With the latter two issues addressed, I really think there is another mph or two left...

    I'm with Steve D. ECM sees cam and crank sync it would fire coils. I don't know at what point ls coils are actually even needed though, I have a truck coil pack on my tr6 and it's never ran better than it did at 28 psi last week.     Looking for a 4" single, closer to SW Indiana the better, but would be willing to pay shipping if it was reasonable. 3.5" that's one off and not one of the common kits would be fine as well, prefer to exit behind back tire, though.

    I got to look at Rich's car while we were in staging lane prison Thursday. That is a neat setup, I always thought the charge pipe on my car landed awfully close to where a carb hat facing forward would be.

    I fought 60's too, only got 2 passes Thursday and couldn't get out of the 1.6's, but then drove through the converter until I could lock it in drive. Picked up 28 mph back half just to go 11.0. Would've liked to try turbo pro bracket, but with the weather killing Friday, I just wasn't prepared...
