I have checked the pins on the ecu they are all good,it has only started twice and i didn't check to see if the check engine light came on or not.

Ok tried to start car today and it started up just fine,ran for about 45 seconds and cut off,started back up and ran for another 45 seconds and cut off again. Then it would not start back up! Any suggestions? ?

87 GN,was driving and with no warning car just cut off,and would not start back up. Fuel pump is working,car has no spark. Where should I start,I unplugged tsp and tried to start in that didn't work also unplugged computer and checked the prongs there good. Thanks for any help!!

hit the test o the alky unit and it sill doesnt start,il check fuel pressuretnight but shouldnt it start or a few seconds if i pruge it with alky

is there a certain way to check for spark on these cars,im getting fuel so im thinking no spark

So on my home from power tour last night in the rain (87 GN)ll out of no where the car just dies while driving down the road. I have it towed home,get home from work to day put bttery charger on it,it starts and runs f about 5 seconds then dies and will nt start again. te fuel pump is coming on...

when you say racetronic harness,are u talking about the intake harness,im looking at maybe buing a racetronix sending unit,do they come with a new intake harness,i assume they do

ok found the problem,now what would of caused this,i dropped the tank,pulled the pump,the wires that go from the pump up to the top of the sending unit are burnt at the plug where it connects to the top of the sending unit on the inside of tank. that scary what would of caused them to burn/melt...

ok the brown/white wire has 12v when u cycle the key,i ran 12v and ground from a dewalt 18v battery straight to the wires coming from the pump in the tank and nothing, does this mean the pump is bad

is it connected to anything or just there,cause i dont see it

also where is the fuel prime connector? i dont see anytthing behind the alt,i see a green plug with 2 wires going into the same slot,but its not hooked to anything,guessing the original owner bypassed whatever that plug goes to
