seriously, had a couple of GN owners suggest Lou Czamota look at my 80,000 mile GN.
finally met and left car for his expertise. was told that he will give the car more than his estimate ,and he considers the car "his" ,and you are "borrowing" it, when it leaves his shop.
and did he deliver! the GN had some modifications made soon after it was purchased, and I am second owner. the he GN , when I bought it in 1998, would run with and beat most of the palm springs/palm desert exotics, but now ,many years later, I wouldn't go out looking for a race.
however ,that changed last monday when Lou took me around the block. when he hit the gas, I was thrown into the back seat, blacked out, while he had one eye on the road ahead and behind, and the other on the scanmaster, and at who knows what speed the rear tires broke traction!!!
so, I am more than pleased with this outcome, and the car is a brand new experience now! I mentioned that I could take on anything now, and he calmly mentioned that I was really at the beginning of the car's potential! meaning kindly that this is a slow GN when thrown in with the
rest of your rides.
can't say enough about the expertise, service , and knowledge that Lou exhibited.
thank you, Lou

That's great. Where is he located?
FL?
It may be worth the 1700 mile trip. Always hear good things about him.

Charlie,
First of all. Welcome to the site. Lots of good info and great people here. Grab a beer and make yourself at home. It was nice to meet you at my shop a couple weeks ago. Lou is a legend at unleashing the monster that lives under your hood. He's one of the few people that I trust my car with. And, I'm not just saying this because I'm gunna get another free lunch out of him. :D

Charlie, Post up some pictures of your GN when you get a chance. Keep an eye on the So Western section for events. The Biggest west coast event is coming up the first weekend in June.

Thanks for being part of our Turbo Buick family. Thank you for your service too.:)

Happy Spooling.

Charlie thanks for the kind words, Like i said what you got was more the entry level treatment to allow you to keep up with traffic. Let me know if you ever get serious & want to take out some hellcats or shit box mustangs ;)

"Entry level treatment to allow you to keep up with traffic". LMAO.

So, what the hell did you build my engine to do, eat the traffic for lunch?:D
