Whisper quiet exhaust

The only thing im not happy with is the fact that ill have to either lower the rear-end or cut off the rear muffler at the inlet if I ever need to work on the rear-end. That is the least of my worries. I LOVE how quiet the car is. I have never heard the three muffler set-up and that was the initial plan (they say it is also deadly quiet), but i decided to do my own thing and im happy it worked out.

Sounds great. Even the dog thought so. I wonder how well it would sound if you just ran just the VT muffler only? If it would have any drone.

I bought the VT from a board member (fleebag) and he said that by itself in a single 3 inch configuration that he had drone and that's why he sold it. There are other board members that run the VT 3 inch single shot and they say they have no drone. There are others that run dual VTs and also love them. I went with the extra muffler because I wanted the car as quiet as possible and wanted make sure that I was completely drone free.

Thanks. I've been looking for a way to rid the drone w/o having to replace the whole exhaust. I know a cat helps take the edge off. Would love to hear a single shot 3" with just the VT muffler only - nothing else.

I replaced the 3" Magnaflow with a #' VT muffler.. Single exhaust.. I am old an like quiet. This worked out great. NO rattling. Goin to used them on my Mazda /Buick when I get some time.

I really liked this idea, the drone was annoying to say the least. I'm doing a frame off and haven't been able to drive the car yet, but idling is definitely a lot nicer so far.

I used a single shot 3 inch exhaust(don't know who makes it as it was on the car when I bought it), I then added a single VT muffler behind the rear end. I also added V-band clamps to the down pipe and to the exhaust just above the axel so I can remove this easily if need be.

That's awesome. Nice job on the exhaust. I bet the rest of the build is going amazing too.

You really have to hear it in person to see how quiet it really is. Here you go:
