Ok let's just say I had a beat up Ttype and was considering a TTA clone of sorts. I don't need AC can I use my GN heads?
New K member and torque arm for my 200 new fuel lines and tank for EFI is this pipe dream and a money pit?

Give a holler to Bo, TT/Ameasap. He just put T/A S/E heads on his gta. Don't know if he had to remove the a/c or not. But he can answer any question you might have and he's god guy to talk to.

Thanks! What sort of value would you put on the GTA he wants $8000 I figured more like $5000 it's in very good shape low milage 51000 km Canadian car so 30,000 miles. Blue grey Interior is mint with a little wear on leather drivers seat. Factory paint is decent

Like "beauty", the value "is in the eye of the beholder". I would look in the for sale section to get a "feel" for the value of the gta's. Then at least you would have some ammunition to barter. In my opinion, w/the low mileage and if well kept, it would be closer to $7k. But I'm no expert w/car pricing. I purchased a 2000 Camaro for $2k and have regretted it since!! lol

I have done this swap previously and currently doing it again into my '84 camaro. The GN heads will fit without the ac, some mods to the downpipe will be needed, but nothing extreme. I used the 700r4 trans that was in the car using an adaptor plate. That way I didnt need any custom cross members or torque arm. If the TTA is carbed, new fuel lines and in tank pump would be the easiest. The GN wiring harness will need to be modified to work with the TTA. That price seems pretty fair for such a low miler car. I paid $5000 CND two years ago for my 84 with 150000km. Good luck and you can check out my swap on Thirdgen.org, under the same user name.
