Looked at TTA Today

I used to own a TTA and decided it would be fun to own another. As fate would have it I found a one owner for sale reasonably priced locally.
I went to look at it and it was in ok condition if you weren't a car guy. It was pretty rough really but the owner thought it was really nice.
Anyway. I thought about throwing out an offer until I noticed the paint on the inside of the fenders. Is this common on the 89 TTA?

It looks as though the inside of the fender didn't get sprayed.

Yes it does. I'm shocked by the lack of paint. It made me think the vehicle was involved in an accident.

This is what really through me for a loop.
Passenger side has a paint run.

They are all like this... Paint is still much better than on the GN's... You could actually request the GN to be repainted when you bought it new (free) it was so bad. Cousin had it done and his GN looked amazing.
 
Yeah Van Nuys Ca had the worse quality control of all GM plants..... shameful... too many democrats...:arghh:
