I'm looking at the idea of no i/c. And, using alky spray only. Pump 93, straight M1, 15-20psi boost, reasonable timing. It's a forged engine, so that may "help", should I mis the tune. {Holley Dominator}.
I just hung the i/c.. Damn! that thing must be 50#.
Since this is a street car, no cage, I'll be doing a track visit only a couple times a yr.
Given, at 15#, traction becomes an issue, I think I'll give it a try.
I may switch to E85 once some more stations start selling it........Will be an "experiment"!
I just read a thread on the bullet.... seems there are several guys doing this, some on e85, making some serious steam.:D
NE1 have comments, experience??

That's pretty dam cool if that's possible. I wonder if we could get away w that on our 6 banger. That would be interesting.

I’m pretty sure i read a thread on here a few years ago of someone doing the same thing.

If I remember correctly the alky was doing just fine with no cooler.

Can’t remember and specs though.

Why not use just e-85?

A local TTA owner runs 7's with his twin turbo TTA stage engine w/o an intercooler and e-85!

I'm really considering trying mine without an intercooler. Mine is on E85 though. The main reason I'm interested, is to lower my coolant temp with the A/C on. This China front mount must not allow much airflow to the radiator. It's fine with the a/c off but slowly heats up to 220 with the a/c running.

I'm thinking some "homebrewed" no led 114, 93, and straight meth inj, and I'll be good to at least 20psi.. No way to use the power that will produce, on the street.

Days of old, pull up to the local airport for some LL.
Chuck you can get the e85 by the 55 gal drum from a local distribution. Just a thought.
