The 60fts are terrible. Bottom line the car won't launch. I mash on both pedals and only get 3lbs of boost. No tire spin the brakes hold well enough. I do have stock converter. Converter recommendations? Once I finally get in boost it seems to pull hard and hooks great. Any thoughts overall looking at the slips? where should it b?

It was 90° also and the arrow on 2nd slip is on the wrong side

Launching at that boost level your 60's are probably about right. Do you have a power logger or Scanmaster? If so post up some data. It could be a lot of things. Do you plan to race the car often? If all is good with the car my initial thought is that it's probably way too rich off the line. Don't go by that though. If you want it to be fast I would get a power logger so you can see exactly what is happening. The 1/4 mile times are a direct result of the bad 60's. I used to run 1.8 60' when I still had my stock converter so I believe the problem probably is elsewhere. With the 6.0 TT chip you can tune it. But without any data you are shooting blind.

Sorry I misread what you wrote. What TT chip do you have?

5.7 tt alky chip. I do have a scan master but no power logger. I tried bumping up timing in 1st n 2nd but instantly got knock. It seems to pull great on the default settings. I guess it could be rich at the line but at the traps I was at 777 o2s in the best run. Out of the hole slow then feels like I hit 150 shot of nitrous when boost comes on. Spool up is quick once it actually starts too.

No plans to race all the time. Couple times a year. Not gonna lie im no tuning expert but I know the basics. Maybe a dyno tune is in order. Do the 1/8th to 1/4 seem to be on par?

1/8-1/4 seems about right. Mph is good for the combo. What exactly is your starting line routine? Do you have a boost controller? What is the alky turn on set at?

Just a small burnout with drag radial. I started building a lil boost at pre stage light then pull up n build much as I could. Put it on the floor n let off the brake. It won't build enough to even try to spin when I launch. Grimmspeed MBC and turn on is 7 psi. Once rolling I get to that 7psi n it shoots to 24 instantly. If I could get up to 7-8 at the line i think id be in there like swimwear..lol

Thanks for the responses by the way. Im not overly concerned with it cuz it's not too noticeable on the street from a roll but just wanted some input.

the rpm is also a factor when getting the car to leave.looking at your slip its clear you need a much better converter.with the stock motor loose down low and must be able to tighten up fast as there is a narrow rpm window on the stock motor.

Right that's what I was thinking but always helps to get input from the more experienced. It will be dialed in by an experienced tuner and have a good converter before I run it again. Thanks for thr reply

At least a 2800 converter. Do you plan to go faster or further upgrading? If the answer is yes, then maybe a 3200 stall.
Speed is addicting
