Door Hinges & Body Bushings

I need to replace the drivers side door hinges on my car but I also probably need to do the body bushings as the chassis has over 150K miles on it in it's 30 years.

This sounds like a stupid questions but should I wait to replace the hinges till after I do the bushings? Also, what are the current best non-poly sets around? The car is a original Cali car so hopefully there won't be too much drama replacing them.

I just used Kirbans body bushing kit for my frame off....no complaints,,as for the hinges I would go with highway stars...my 2cents

Have the hinges already (from Kirbans). Guess I need to just order up the bushings and get to work. Did you do the radiator core ones too?

Did you really need new hinges or just a new pin and brass bushings on the door hinges? My uncle price hinges and I guess they were out of his price range . I am in the process of changing the door hardware right now. My car needs the bushings at the core support as my fender / door gap at the bottom has changed a little on the driver's side.

I was going to do just the pins but spending the extra $$ for the new hinges is not that big of a deal in the long run and I know they will be good for a long while. I am going to rebuild everything in the doors while I am at it. I have new window felts and have power lock motors on the way. I am also going to pick up the a1 window regulators to have windows that are actually fast.

yes..figured while I was at it,make it all new...cheap investment
