FAST XFI Flex Fuel Sensor

Hey there, I just re-read you post. You bought the newer version..... So that model does connect different than mine. Are you using there 4-wire/3-wire harness? Do you have the WHITE/BLUE to A6? But I am surely positive that you need the green output of the flex sensor to go to A6 and Zeitronix...... If you didn't have the Zeitronix, you would be just running the Flex output to A6.... The output (white/blue) is probably the wire/output that runs to your gauge.

EDIT: Do you have the flex fuel bottom turned on?
I am using the 3 wire harness and I had the white and blue wire going to the a6 but the fast xfi wasn't reading,
so I did what I think you told me, was to split the green wire coming from the flex fuel sencor. One going to the Zeitronix ethanol content analyzer and the other going to a6 on the fast and now I disconnected the white and blue wire from the a6 and left it alone, but that still didn't work. Now I hooked only the green wire to the fast A6 and I think I am getting somewhere, cause I read on the fast but I can't use the zeitronix digital gauge. I am trying to get in touch with zeitronix to see if they could give me a helping hand.

This is the one that I was using. I can tell you that it worked. What if you did this. FLEX output to ZEITRONIX display (Green). The from zeitronix white/blue to A6.....

That is exactly what I have and that was the way that I had it wired the first time and it wasn't working for me.
Thanks for your help I appreciate it.

Can you put the sensor in the fuel feed line going to the motor? Or is it better on the return line?

You can put it in the feed with the new sensor. The return is best with the old sensor since the inner diameter was smaller and would restrict to much flow

I would think that would be dependent on the size of fuel pump that you have.

I agree, the id of the new sensor is quit large. Should flow pretty darn good. I would put the sensor In the return always but in the feed could work

Here's how I mounted mine in the return line for my SD2 flex fuel setup

The sensor was 45$ the harness was 15$ the fittings where close to 65$ (n) FYI

13577394, 13577379, and 13577429 are the available ethanol sensors. The tubes are all the same diameter.

13577379 is the mid sized one

13577394 is the largest

I used 13577429 which is the smallest of them and doesn't have the mounting holes. It looks like there might be a bracket that it clips into. I just ran a zip tie around mine to hold it to the metal it is mounted on.

I got the Harness 13352241 to connect mine. it was under $10 for the harness and just under $50 for the 13577429 sensor

I got mine at gmpartsgiant.com just under $59 for the parts but $12 for shipping.

Is there any data to say there is a difference in size between the 3 sensors? Or better flow rate?

No ID size difference. They will all 3 flow the same. Now the old gm sensor will flow less because it has a very small ID
