Did you get the instructions with it?

I have two external wastegates and I have had an MSBC for years. It works, what I once thought to be very well. But I'll get an initial 2, sometimes even close to 3 psi spike before it quickly recovers and holds mostly within 1 psi stable for the rest of the run. But now I believe some of the newer devices are better these days.

I thought I remembered the instructions having a section on installing it with a stock style wastegate actuator as well. But I agree with Paul (pacecarta) and strongly recommend using external.

if you wire it up to run wastegate mode triggered on the yellow wire by the xfi it will not spike , can be done without running co2 but co2 is needed when running a lower psi spring (i run a 3-6 psi spring) and using the msbc-1 for launch control . only thing about wastegate mode is you dont enter the desired boost you need to subtract spring pressure .. example with a 6psi spring if desired boost is 25psi you would enter around 18psi in controller

Thanks for the info Paul. I may be asking you more about this in the future. But the OP should look further into this for sure!

I currently don't use a CO2 bottle and I believe I have 10lb springs in my wastegates. But for now, I haven't got any plans to change or improve anything just yet. I'm thinking I'm going to deal with some maintenence issues this spring and then hopefully I'm just going to drive the damned thing!

Missed out on a lot of things last summer due to some of life's obstacles. This upcoming summer may be just as hectic.
