Need to make room in the garage.
What do you think the body, firewall back, weighs? The seats, carpet and console are out. No frame. No front clip.
Thinking about suspending it from ceiling in garage.

I have moved body tubs before and it took 6 - 8 guys to safely do it. If everyone has an effective lifted load of 100 - 150 lbs, you are looking at 800 - 1000 lbs.

I'm going to say it's around 1100 . I'm a rigger and if you are seriously considering doing this the beams you are going to be warping better be something bigger then your standard 2x6 or even 4x6. I have been debating building a solid 4 post gantry setup and attaching a 1/2 ton chain motor on a beam roller . Maybe when I get a bigger garage:) attached is a pic of a cool setup I did over a pool that was suspending some Arealist for a party .

800-1,100 lbs., eh? So if I remove the doors it should be about 300 lbs. then. :D
Maybe I'll put it in a giant shrink rap bag thingy and jam it in the shed.

On a different note, is there a what of changing the background color of buttons (yellow w/ white text) on this board? Like the "Post Reply" button I'm looking at on the lower right as I type. Can't see what it says unless I hover over it.
