What are my options? I don't really want to use an a/c delete pulley, I would rather relocate the alternator completely and use new bracketry.

Are the brackets on the cold air cars integrated a/c & alternator too or are they seperate pieces?
Could I get an alternator bracket from a non a/c car? what application/year?
Where would it place the alternator?

I'm probably not understanding you right, but why do you need an AC delete pulley when the AC has it's own dedicated belt?

lol, brain fart, sorry.

What I want to do is delete the a/c and relocate the alternator. I want to clean up the engine compartment and make more room for some things I have in mind ;)

Sorry for the confusion.

I would like to use all the 87 accessories and brackets up front, much cleaner looking. I haven't looked into it yet but next time I go home and have my car and my dad's 86 side by side, I'm going to give it some serious thought. At the least I'm going to fab up a serpentine setup but I think I should get it running first :) .

There is a bracket from early V6 and 350's that holds just an alternator on the passenger side head. Small bracket with a swing arm that attaches to the water pump.
