Cleaned up the rear end. Media blasted with aluminum oxide and finished with Eastwood Rust Encapsulator & top coated with Eastwood Chassis Satin Black.
New Brake Shoes & brake cylinders + hardware and installed my HR Parts N Stuff Uppers & Lowers as well as their sway bar.

Nice job. Someday I hope to do this also.

Stupid question. Did you take it apart when you blasted it? Or just masked off few things?

I wrestled with the same question and finally decided that to do it right, I had to pull the diff cover and remove the C clips (easy peasy) then pull the axles. Removed the brake backing plates.
I taped up the open ends on the diff with duct tape and also taped the breather / vent .
Sent it out for media blasting....they used aluminum oxide.
Had a buddy spray the Eastwood products instead of me using the paint spray bombs.
He did a great job! Then re-assembled the entire assembly.
Took some time, but I'm very pleased with the end results.

Disgustingly clean.:) What's your 60 foot times with the rear bar and adjustable shocks?

Thanks for the compliment Brad.
Dunno what my 60ft times are cause I haven't been down the track (yet), but my crystal ball tells me that my first outing down the 1320 isn't too far off & I'll be looking forward to some help & guidance from Scooby and one "BADBUICK" & the other members of our Buick Family in the process.

Looks really good! Would love to also do this one day. Thanks for the tips. By the way nice GNX Cover. (y)
