So my driver seat wobbles and it looks like thr LF bracket may be broken, it's hard to see in thr pics but has anyone run into this? And what's the fix? Take the seat put and have it welded?
.thanks

By looking at the pics, it's obvious that the track is broken. The best fix is to remove the seat from it and have it welded…and maybe add a little reinforcing plate…and do both sides while at it.
Good luck,

Claude.

I repaired one for a rather large gentleman last year. I welded it and added a reinforcement plate. I also had to weld the floor where the seat was bolted. It was broken in the same place yours is plus the leg was cracked.

Thanks guys, I did a search and found it sound like this is a pretty common problem. I think I read the 87s are aluminum?

I agree with Claude....take it out for welding. If you're a heavy type of person, i.e. 200-1,000 pounds:eek:, have an extra plate put on it for reinforcement like Mikester suggested.

i did extensive research on the cause and after careful study of the data found it to be ... a heavy right foot and too much cheesecake
