    Thoughts on what this combo might run

    No downshift into 2nd gear

    BRF trans... 1 to 2 shift is very soft at part throttle,but still firm at WOT,2-3 shift firm Anyway,trans will not kickdown into 2nd,it goes into first..like it skips right over 2nd thoughts? Did a search..didn't really come up with anything specific I will be going to talk to the builder...

    wow..the Flowmaster exhaust really sucks

    Car runs awesome,but lots of smoke

    basically stock 87 GN,does everything its supposed to,but smokes like a freight train out of the tailpipes. Smoking got worse after swapping the stock exhaust for the Hooker 2.5" system and test pipe.Turbo seals maybe?

    ET/MPH gain from exhaust swap

    What kind of gain in ET and MPH could be expected from swapping out the stock cat for a test pipe and stock exhaust for the Hooker 2.5" system? Car currently runs high 13's/low 14's around 97-98 MPH basically all stock (mods in signature) on regular street radials. 60 ft range is 2.05-2.30...

    Wha makes the 1-2 shift go "soft"

    Rebuilt BRF unit (about 4 years and 8,000 miles ago) Has a Fairbanks Super Servo...unit used to shift very firm on the 1-2 and 2-3 upshifts...now its soft on the 1-2 but still firm on the 2-3 thoughts? Fluid is pink with no stink

    If you are running 16-17 lbs. of boost with 26* of timing ,what would be the suitable octane? I would guess 110,but I don't want to take a chance...
