I found the harmonic balancer bolt was loose, I turned it some by hand and put a socket on it. I was wondering if there should be locktite on it or just put some ****(as in muscle) on it.

I swapped in the 87/86 parts and the fans aren't coming on. I've checked and have power to the switched side of both relays but none to the coils. Is there a wire I'm supposed to move around in the fusebox?

Car is a 84 TType with a 87 motor and wiring harness. It will start up and run with the 84 ecm but gives a coolant code. When I put a 87 ecm that I got from a board member in it doesn't do anything except turn over. Its probably a dumb question but could it be anything else other than the ecm?

Only looking for a stock intercooled chipset to get the bugs worked out

Will a 87 computer run and drive fine with an 87 chip and 84 E-prom chip on a 87 motor?
