    Slight knock/rattle on cold start

    Me too, same rattle. I think it's the lifters also. Although I was told that Fram oil filters can cause this also. Something about their flow on start up.

    If you already have a scan master I wouldn't worry about the knock. I second the Boost & Fuel guages.

    If it's just bouncing I would lube it first. It's messy but it works.
