Anyone ever go to the San Antonio Raceway?

That was Alamo dragway. You were more likely to break down on the return road then the track. That is the worst return road that I have ever been on, except the one in Waco

    TB problems

Wires are correct, but you are right about ohming out the wires. Ohming only shows a low voltage continuity. I will get some new ones and I will keep my fingers crossed.

    42 or 60 lb injectors ?

60's or 40's What it all comes down to, is that you want to keep your car fairly stock. Getting the 42lbs injector is not really going cheaper. I have 72lbs injector in my car and it runs great, but I started out with 42lbs and worked my way up to the 72lbs. Unlike you, I wanted my car to go...

    42 or 60 lb injectors ?

60# I would also go with the 60lbs. There should not be any differance in performance with what you have. If you ever decide to go fast, that will be one less thing you have to worry about.

    headers glowing at idle

Timing My car had the same problem years ago. It seems that when they rebuilt my engine, they did not torque the harmonic balancer to the required 200lbs. Check your timing and then the balancer. Sounds like it slipped.
