I am trying to compare turbos,so I can upgrade.Does anyone know the specs for the 87 gn garrett turbo? I would like to find out the A/R for the compressor and the turbine,also would like to know the wheel sizes and the trim. Thanks

I want to upgrade my 87 t, using a t-3 flange turbo. I'm a little confused about how to compare turbos with the stock Garrett unit. When a/r is referred to, are they talking about the turbine, or the compressor? What does "trim" mean? Any suggested t-3 flange turbos for a stock, rebuilt 3.8...

Reassembling 87 t-type after rebuild. I have a trouble code # 12, tach is pegged . Book says no tach signal. Anyone ever seen this? What to do? T%hank's, Dan

Anyone know if you can use an 86 monte ss trans and/or converter in an 86 gn?

have a rebuilt trans with a different torque converter. same symptom before swap,does not lock up at 50 mph,tried different ecm and chip,tried new brake pedal switch,still no lockup,engine turning 3000 rpm at 50 mph. any ideas?

hi i have an 86 gn that needs a rebuild, anyone know if i can use an 84 block,crank,cam,heads etc.? someone wants to sell me an 84 engine. are the internal components the same as an 86? thanks for any help,
