Nope....They won't trade them in!!.... I just tried to trade mine about 2 days ago... but what you can do is get rid of all this mess (Adapters) and buy the pro key cable...its a USB cable for the Gen VII and it has a pro key built into it... Mine is on its way and for only 170 bucks is not that...

I have a Gen VII and was trying to run my pro key with it...well my laptop does not have an LPT port so I went to the computer store and bought an adapter from the Printer style to USB... but when I plug it in the Gen VII still has all the windows Grayed out....The drivers for the USB installed...
