I know this is an old bullitin, but will this work on an 85, and where do I order it?

Yea I know its been a while... I wanted to use the regulator that I have, because it has the guage allready attached to it, and it kinda nice. I just cant seem to find a fuel rail adapter for a grand national. I keep finding them for subarus, 240s, LS1s, and mustangs.

Does anyone know if and where i can a fuel rail adapter in order to install a universal fuel pressure regulator. This is the last step I need to take to finish with my alky kit project. :biggrin:

Im having trouble finding these connectors for the 3 bar map sensor. Are all of the connections the same for the 85 GN models as the 87 Digital Dash?:confused:

everythings good now. I got it to produce boost, and its running good. I didnt get a chance to install the knock guage today, so I left the boost at what feels like stock, Ill beef it up after the guage is installed and I get a chance to tune it. :biggrin: :D Showing alot of potential! :D...

I just got the turbo upgraded on my 85 Grand national, and I have NO BOOST. I checked and double checked all of the vaccuum lines, and they are all fine. The only thing I can think of is the arm on the waste gate is adjustable, and maybe it is leaving it open a little bit not allowing any boost...

I need the vaccuum line diagram for an 85 grand national, my car has been worked on by several mechanics, and i think that they may have changed some things around. after installing a turbo upgrade I lost HP, so I am thinking the vaccuum lines may be the problem.

I got the TA49 turbo upgrade, but now my wastegate has 2 vaccuum ports, and there is another under the turbo..... I dont know what to do with them.... Please help.

JDEstill That was pretty complicated for me, but I got the jist of it. Looks like I only need 2.5 all the way around. I dont really understand why the piping before the IC would work out better being thicker than after the IC...

Time is the only issue. I need to find time to install the alky kit first (Priority) and I need to look at the engine compartment and decide if I want to get that Black intercooler pipeing or just the polished aluminum. I do know that once I pick the intercooler, I am painting the face black so...

Good to know, It will save me lots of money just going with 2.5. now I just need to worry about reclocking the turbo, and bending the pipe to go behind the turbo and enter the intake manifold.

Do you have pictures that I can see what I would be working with?

Im suprised. 2.5 seems kinda small. anyone else have comments, or is that the popular opinion.

I got my stock turbo ported and upgraded, and I will be installing an alky kit, I am thinking of installing an intercooler, but I dont know what diameter pipeing to support the best air flow, but not causing too much boost lag.

Wish I could afford to get an intercooler. How much all togeather have most of you paid for reclocking the turbo and getting the piping and intercooler. Just a ballpark price would be fine.

It wont break my heart to just be in the twelvs. I am getting the turbo upgrade and I allready purchaced the alky kit anyways. I was just hopeing that they would bring me that low. 12.5 is about what the faster AWD racers around my area are, so to run with them in a 3600 lb v6 buick is plenty...

With that turbo upgrade, and a Razor Alky kit, would that push me into the 11s? Please say yes........

Why would you want any other header:D
