I just put a set of Monroe Sensatrac's on the rear. They work out pretty nice on a budget. The only problem I had was busting the bottom nut loose. I had to jump on my lugwrench. It's a pretty straight forward job though.

I hated to use the word, but it is a loud knocking/banging sound. I normally only hear it at idle, cold or warm. I may hear one thump when I let off the throttle quickly, but that may just be a figment of my imagination. What's the best way to rotate the flexplate?

Ok, I know this is everybodys FAVORITE type of question, but... There is a terrible banging sound at idle, I dont notice it at higher RPMs. The car seems to be running fine otherwise. Can anybody out there give me some key points to check?

I had a very similar problem, but I could see fuel pooled up on the intake manifold:eek: It turned out to be the o-ring between the fuel pressure regulator and the fuel rail. Good luck.
