    Our customers usually like the stainless tip (EVT49) to be even with the body line of the rear 1/4 or sticking out a little. Some are cutting the tailpipe to slide the tip on further. It is all preference.

    You forgot to mention that you have some customized rear suspension pieces. This would affect the fitment of the Pypes system. You quoted the following on your own thread..... I had a few snags in the install, but it was due to my rear suspension being "customized" and not the exhaust system

    Hooker vs Magnaflow

    Very good info, although 304 does discolor. It will turn gold in high heat areas and eventually turn brown. 409 stainless steel is great material for exhaust systems. It will last longer than the car will. It will turn color as will 304 stainless.

    Pypes does offer a test pipe and it is not included in the exhaust kits. The part# for the test pipe is PVC10

    All Pypes exhaust systems are stainless. The G-body systems are all made from 409 stainless steel which is magnetic. What makes you think it is not stainless?
