What other vehicle do you have besides a buick?

I've got a few: 1985 Chevrolet K-10 305, looking for a 350 swap in the near future, need to replace the core support due to rust. 131,000 or so miles 1994 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi, might be looking to sell this one off finally. Needs a little TLC and I don't seem to find the time to really be...

    RIP Dan Weldon

Saw the crash replay on Sportscenter this AM. Horrible. I haven't really followed the Indy Cars in years, but as stated, he was a great ambassador for the sport, and will be missed on and off track. R.I.P.

    update on my grand national.

Glad to hear that you finally got it running. I was thinking of the problems you had the other day, and wondering if you had ever got it figured out or not. To drive it around slow would be tough, especially after all the waiting, i would imagine. But it sounds like you should be ready to...

    Car stalls at random!!!

based on my experience, a bad crank sensor can have the same symptoms, for sure. I don't recall it throwing any codes when mine was acting up, so it ended up being a bit of a gamble when I had mine replaced, but we had exhausted several other ideas. Is it possible that the fault codes are...

    crankshaft postion sensor!!!!!!

Ah, hang in there. You got fuel, and air obviously, so that leaves the spark to fire it off. I have to think that you're getting really close to solving this. Good Luck!

    crankshaft postion sensor!!!!!!

i suffered thru the 'bad crank sensor' thing years ago. As it was on it's way out, the troubles were very intermittent, and some days it would start and run fine, others it would start, stall, and not re-fire. Would crank away endlessly if the sensor was not happy. While I can't say for sure...

    New Headers for Hot Air?

Wow, I've been away from the board for a while, but am really glad to see that there's some efforts being put towards the HEADER and TURBO areas for options out there for the Hot Air cars. Awesome!

    Hood emblem

Well, if they are no longer making and selling them, would someone that has one be willing to take some measurements, etc, in effort to help someone maybe fabricate their own? I wouldn't want to step on anyone's toes if there were still a retail option, but this is an issue that will continue...

For Sale: ATR 2.5" Down pipe

Sorry to side-track you a bit on this, as I already have the ATR pieces. Looking at your pictures, is that their up-pipe also? Doe sit really not meet up with the turbo very well, or is it just the photo? Just curious. I haven't even had a chance to think about installing my pipe yet, due...

Anyone interested in HA Performance headers?

I'd certainly be interested. But in reality, the cost does become a factor in actually pulling the trigger on a deal. Understanding there is a fine balance point, to make the fabrication of parts worthwhile to a vendor, and to make the purchase price something that the average owner can...

86 turbo headers on 85 grand national

route of the piping is totally different, with the '85 turbo being located towards the rear of the engine compartment, and the '86 having it located up towards the front. The driver side is the same, as far as I know, but the passenger side output for the up-pipe is in the wrong spot.

    84 no start no spark

Bad crank sensor could be a possibility. Been down that road on mine. . . .

    Car died and no restart!!

I would concur, a stalling like that, and everything else seeming to check out, would make me think crank sensor. Mine gave me fits when it was on it's way out (and before I knew of a website such as this). Good Luck!

What year chevelle is the best looking????

My personal favorite model year for the Chevelle was the '69, so I'd defintely pick the '68 before the '70, due to the body style. I just like the front end more on those earlier ones.
