Hi, my car was not starting, I figured it was the old gas at first, but now I notice when I connect the battery I dont hear the noise (not sure what it was, injectors priming) coming from the engine bay I use to hear. Is this a case of a bad Computer? If so any for sale on long island?

My car has an issue with the sending unit. The gas gauge works fine until the fuel level goes down to about half. Then rapidly it just goes to the empty side. Car has been sitting for a few months. I changed the battery, the engine is turning but it does not catch. I removed a spark plug, there is a spark. I siphoned out a few gallons of the gas, and it looks normal to be honest. Any advice where to go from here?
