Anybody have any info?

I see there are left and right motor mounts listed for the V6. What is the difference,I have only one used mount and am mocking up the engine I am putting the engine in my HenryJ and wonder if there is a difference in frame mounting?

It is not in conjunction with the turbo, just another option instead.

Great job on the Buick. The turbo V6 for my HenryJ came out of my buddy's 80, black outside and black inside. It was his dad's car.

The distributor is seized in the cover which I want to remove as it has a piece missing where the dist hold down bolt goes. I wonder if I unbolt the cover am I able to remove it with the dist still in it. With great effort I can turn the dist but hitting it underneath with my rubber shot hammer...

Don't want to sound like a dumb ass but nowhere did you say you checked the oil! Did you and what did it look like? Colour/ water antifreeze in it? Merry Christmas to all.

Looking for an old pair of headers for my 80 turbo, just the flanges would do, to cut up for the turbo install in the HenryJ.

Thanks, I am keeping the turbo 350 for now, but if I come across a 200R4 I might go that root, which would allow me to go up to a 373+. I don't have the tires specked out yet so still many things up in the air.

The gear out of the 80 turbo Regal was 273 ?? For a bit of extra off line performance what would you guys recommend. My first thought was a 342 that I have from an S10. Thanks, Henry.

I have a chance to get a 78 V6 engine/ trany and wonder if there is any advantage with this engine over the 80 turbo engine I have for my HenryJ as far as using the newer engine and putting on the 80 turbo setup?

My post is for a standard bellhousing which is why I asksd about the pilot bearing. Henry.

I'm thinking of taking the Tremic 5sp out of my 57 and using it in the HenryJ and wonder what stock bellhousing would fit the 80 V6. There is a deeper hole in the crank after the convertor fit for the pilot bearing I would think. Also does anyone have dimensions for a pilot bearing? Thanks, Henry.
