    Engine Sputter

Problem solved! I took it to a local Buick guy and he hooked up his oscilloscope and we found almost every injector driver in the ECU was bad. It was failing to send a signal to open injectors at random times. Now on to new issues haha thank you every one for your help Sent from my LGUS991...

    Engine Sputter

I've watched volts and they never drop below 13.5 and it only happens with G force, ill have to check trunk wires cause I had to splice them all. And I used brake clean on all vacuum hoses and could not find any. The vacuum gauge reads fairly steady at idle as well. The cutting out can be at low...

It's a 3 inch pipe to the turbo with a come filter with a factory intercooler. And the silicone couplers would only collapse under vacuum and would blow off under boost Sent from my LGUS991 using Tapatalk

Settings on the translator are on-on-on-off setup for a standard chip. And the car never does it just goes to idle for a second and picks back up. The only things I have left are the cam sensor , injectors, or ecu Sent from my LGUS991 using Tapatalk

    Engine Sputter

I just checked cam sensor again and it is making noise while the car is running like maybe the reluctor wheel is hitting the cap, would that be an issue? And I checked my positive cable and it is not hitting the downpipe Sent from my LGUS991 using Tapatalk

    Engine Sputter

With or without boost, at random throttle levels the car will hit really hard and power will cut out. It sounds like the throttle blade just shuts, the boost goes all the way down, and my O2 readings go very low and sometimes get very little knock when in boost. If I roll into the throttle it...

    Bogging/Sputtering confusion

The one from the scrap yard is a bit newer harness so colors vary slightly to the body harness. I will definitely remove those clip splicers. Hopefully I can finish this up tonight! Will update later. Thanks everyone for your help

    Bogging/Sputtering confusion

I ordered a pump and upon removal this is what I found. I went to the scrap yard and got 3 wire connectors for the caspers kit but am not sure about which wires are which.

    Bogging/Sputtering confusion

How should I check the o2? Should I check cross count outputs or o2 output? Like I said sensor is about 1.5 year old. Also I have 30 lb Bosch injectors that previous owner installed

    Bogging/Sputtering confusion

Unplugged the cam sensor, was only slightly better, pretty much no change, still shutters and chugs. Checked and messed with translator settings and those are spot on. Finally, I turned down fuel pressure to match old pressure regulator output, no change. In my head I keep thinking vacuum leak...

I was thinking pump too, and my o2 is only about a year old with good constant readings but I'll double check them, I'll look into pumps tonight

    Bogging/Sputtering confusion

Yes I set it to the specs they provided, 0 rich/lean and 0 for 3.5 MAF. What would happen if I changed the setting to the "extender" chip

    Bogging/Sputtering confusion

So recently my MAF acquired a hole causing a post MAF air leak causing the car to bog and sputter under acceleration. I bought a new 3.5 MAF with a translator. I also bought a new adjustable FPR (accufab), pressure set at 42 (vacuum line off). I have stock injectors and stock fuel pump, with a...

I just purchased a rebuilt column from an 87 monte ss. Everything lines up and mounts up perfect except.... the end shaft out of the column that connects to the intermediate shaft is about 2 inches too short! I have only seen one or two other threads regarding this issue, and I believe this...
