    OEM Timing cover.

You can also do one side at a time top avoid shifting the body on the frame. Although there are alignment holes by #2 bushing to help re-align the body.

    Hood Pad Insulator

I've always had luck with using a can of tire shine foam to clean up my original insulator. Just cover everything else with poly before you spray it! :)

    Hood Shocks

X2 on only replacing the one weak hood shock instead of both of them. I just did this, passenger side only and the hood will rise up on it's own after opening half way and is reasonable to close. Rock auto Stabilus SG330004 $11.20, can't go wrong. In 5 years time, I'll replace the drivers...

    Ripped Off By Gbody Parts

All those replacement pillars are crap. Here's the fix I went with. Took a Lotek pod and a stock A pillar and cut the section off the stock pillar that was needed. Then had a guy in town 'plastic weld' the two sections together. Bought some texture spray to spray the part and painted gn gray...

    Classic Industries GTA Wheels, Spacers/Adapters

Dorman 610-323 longer studs with the correct knurl. Install and then running spacers will be no problem. I used to run a 5/8" spacer up front with no issues. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Pypes SGG50R install

Finally got some hoist time and finished installing the Pypes exhaust. It is quiet but has a really nice rumble at 2000 rpm and really wakes up at WOT. I had to cut an inch off both tailpipes as others have said. Every car is different. Will see how it sounds over the next week and try and heat...

    GTA wheels refinishing?

Thanks guys, a local shop up here did them. 1kwiksix, the machinist actually mentioned about being careful not to thin out the lip of the rim. He said he just sands down any curb rash marks by hand, taking the rough edge off and then a thin cut with the CNC.

    GTA wheels refinishing?

I had a set done and was told that they strip the powder coat off the centre section then cnc the aluminum ring removing all the rash and oxidation. Apply new powder coat to the centre and then clear coat the entire wheel. Cost around $100 per wheel though, not cheap but good results Sent from...
