i think before/after boost/temps @ WOT would tell a lot. if a cooler has enough mass it will absorb a lot of heat. its design will dictate how well it desipates this heat = recovery time. this would pretty much require data logging, something i can't do.

size and model of original goodyears

i was doing alignments about when GN's came out. they needed tires sooner than most everyone else, and we sold alignments as an upsell, GOODYEAR. anyway. i remember when i first drove a GN. i just did an alignment on it, and took it for a test drive. i test drove every alignment. i went...

well, i not concerned with the install issues. from what i read a while back, this was a minor problem for potencial gains. what i'm wondering is, in addition to the above. is if there was anything negative/positive that was newly discovered.

i did a search, kinda dead on this issue. how are you guys doing with this cooler ? do you feel it lived up to what you expected ? what are your track #'s ? any other comments ? i have seen some bashing of this cooler lately, possibly by the misinformed ?

    stacking hoses/couplers ?

mostly i was wondering if there would be any blown off problems, because the tension from the clamp would not fully travel through to the pipe. i think it would work. but i'm not going to try it. i found that a 3" will fit over a 3 1/4" pipe.

    stacking hoses/couplers ?

    nobody has done this ?

    stacking hoses/couplers ?

say you had a 3 1/4" id silicone hose and a 3" pipe it needed to be connected to. would it be any problem to use a 3" silicone spacer. in other words : a 3" pipe to a 3" spacer/connector(3 1/4" od), then the hump(or whatever) hose. then the other side of the hump hose would go on its 3 1/4"...

    piping coupler questions

i'm doing a powerstroke FM, it has 3 1/4" in/out. compressor out is 2 3/4" . and i'm using 3" pipes. i'm thinking 3" humps will get the job done, AND look good ???

    piping coupler questions

ok, i don't have a lot of experience with these piping couplers. i'm thinking of getting turbonetics couplers. now. will 3" hump hose go on 3" one side & 3 1/4" on the other side with no problems ? i want it to work fine AND look good. or will it deform somehow ? i like the way the hump...

    Trouble bleeding rear brakes

one thing to do, when your finished bleeding, is to thoroughly rinse ALL brake fluid off anything it gets on. just put the car at the end of your driveway(or where ever) and run the garden hose on it for at least 5 mins.

    Trouble bleeding rear brakes

you can use a regular socket & ratchet. but it will be hard to tell when there is no air coming out. but if you bleed for a while and the peddle feels good , then i'm sure it will be bled just fine. or just go buy an offset head wrench.

What are the brighest lights for a TR??

the ones i have are DOT. i don't know about the bulbs, but i don't care if they are or not. if your interested in them, just search the words "eurolite" and "toucan" and i should bring up a bunch of vendors. my beater uses the same setup, so i think this weekend i will put at least one in...

ya know what, screw those sissy E-Code lights. i'm springing for a set of nuclear bulbs, just like the ones on the space shuttle !!! ok, just kidding. but how carried away can we get with this. all i wanted was a better looking light bulb, while its off mostly. and if it looks/works better...
